1. What makes Moonique soaps different from commercial soaps?

Moonique soaps are handcrafted in small batches using certified organic oils, pure botanicals, and cold process methods that preserve nutrients. Unlike commercial soaps that often contain detergents, synthetic fragrances, or fillers, our bars are free from toxins and full of skin-loving ingredients. We never use palm oil, and every bar is made with intention and care—for both your skin and the planet.

2. Are your ingredients really organic and natural?

Absolutely. At Moonique, we prioritize certified organic, plant-based ingredients whenever possible. That means no parabens, no phthalates, no synthetic chemicals—just real, recognizable ingredients your skin will love.

3. What is cold process soap, and why is it better?

Cold process soap is made by mixing oils and lye at low temperatures, allowing the soap to cure for 4–6 weeks. This method retains the natural properties of the oils and produces a gentle, moisturizing bar with natural glycerin, which helps hydrate the skin. It’s a traditional method that results in a longer-lasting, higher-quality soap.

4. Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Most of our soaps are 100% vegan, made with plant-based ingredients. Any bars that contain animal-derived ingredients, such as tallow, are clearly labeled. We are also proudly cruelty-free—we never test on animals or work with suppliers who do.

5. Do your soaps contain essential oils, and are they safe?

Yes, we use pure essential oils for their natural scent and skin benefits. Our formulations are carefully balanced to remain within safe dermal limits, and we avoid phototoxic essential oils in leave-on products. You’ll never find synthetic fragrance oils in our bars—just real, aromatic botanicals.

6. How long does a bar of Moonique soap last?

With proper care, each bar can last 3–4 weeks or longer. To extend the life of your soap, use a well-draining soap dish and avoid leaving the bar in standing water between uses.

7. Do you offer bulk or custom orders for events?

We do! Whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, corporate gift, or Airbnb welcome set, we love creating custom soap sets and branded guest gifts. Just reach out through our contact form or email us directly.

8. Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

We ship throughout the United States, including local orders in Chula Vista and San Diego,CA. Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days, and you'll receive tracking information once your order is on its way. All items are packed with care using sustainable materials.
